Luxury SoCal Entertainer’s Paradise
When we decided to move to North Carolina from our breathtaking Southern California home, it was a very quick decision with a rapid transition process.
Somewhere along the way, I got it in my head we’d save a ton of money if we prepared and sold the home ourselves. The long version of this story is here; but the short version is that we worked ourselves ragged for about a month…and then we sold the home in 3 hours.
We had our work cut out for us getting our home fully prepared to put on the market for a lightning fast sale. Between relocating our family of 9 (four humans and five furbabies) completely across the country...we had more than a few balls to simultaneously juggle.
Before the BIG move in 2018 (and before switching our beloved Kaiser health insurance to an unknown), I had to squeeze in a much needed nasal surgery (to help me breathe), buy a new home in NC sight unseen (our first home renovation project for our new real estate company I started), pack up my existing print business, donate and pack all of our personal belongings, and plan all the logistics entailed in such a move.
Needless to say, it was a MAD CHAOTIC dash to get everything ready in time. J and I never half-ass anything...we we make a decision and commit to something, we execute. While I had all these grandiose plans & a dream list of DIY projects to complete to boost our home value, time quickly ran short and we had to prioritize.
I can't really explain how we survived these past few weeks...but all I can say is this:
1) I have an amazing husband.
2) I really, really don't think my husband is human.
3) We will need to catch up on sleep for the next 3 years for all the sleep we skipped in March / April.
4) It was all worth it.
Behold our 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom entertainer's paradise. While it's bittersweet leaving behind this dream home that we made ours...we have fun and exciting plans in store. While the luxurious home itself is too beautiful for words...the outdoors is where it's at. This gorgeous entertainer’s dream home is an outdoor paradise where you want to stay outside forever. We threw more than a few of our own memorable parties here...but here's to many more to come for the new homeowners.
